Last Sunday I participated in two private photoshoot of the cosplay group PHAB JAMS. The second shoot was of three Death Note characters:

Misa Amane

Mello

The shoot take place at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. Because the first shoot took longer than expected, the Death Note shoot didn’t start until 11:45pm, so we had to take all the pictures outside the cathedral. Because of the time of day, I didn’t want to bring my umbrella and light stand. That made the lighting fairly harsh, but I think that’s appropriate for Death Note characters. It also started to rain slightly shortly after we started, further limiting where we could take photos.

The shoot wrapped up around 1am, and we all left exhausted from a day of photography.
